Super star Emerson

Emerson is on a grade 2 girls basketball team. Today they got there uniforms, so here she is....... #33...yaaaaa. Stay tuned for pictures of her first game this Saturday December the 8th.

Avery and Pepsi

Avery just loves our dog Pepsi. She just sits on the stairs and talks to him, gives him hugs and kisses. On Sunday after church there she was hugging and talking to him.....so I had to take some pictures.

The North Pole

We went to this little place in Colorado Springs called The North Pole. It was so much fun and the kids (of course) did not want to leave. It will for sure be a yearly tradition!

Avery's 3rd Birthday!

Avery really wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for her birthday. We had Emerson's birthday there last year and that is all Avery has talked about " I want my Chuck E. Cheese birthday, I want Chucky to sing to me". So that is where we had a little party for her. Happy Birthday Avery!

That darn halloween candy!

Well 2 nights ago I was putting Emerson to bed. We were reading a book when all of a sudden I felt a HUGE sicky glob of something stuck in her hair. I looked and it was some sort of carmel candy. No matter what we tried we could not get it out, so we had to cut it.....5 inches. Poor Emerson was so upset, she has been trying to grow her hair down to her bum for awhile now. She asked me about 10 months ago if she could grow it that long and I said yes as long as you always let me brush it WITH OUT complaining. She is fine now and maybe she will keep it this lenght. I sure like it alot better, but what do I know I am just the MOM.

Emerson's New Friend!

Emerson's little friend Anna gave her this fish. It is a Bata Fish or also know as Siamese Fighting Fish. OF course she is in heaven and makes sure he gets fed right on time everyday. She named him Fighter .....haha how cute!

Emerson worked on her tooth ALL NIGHT. She would not let anyone else touch it or even think about helping. She said "This tooth is going to come out tonight." Emerson is so excited.

So...... guess who is coming to the Gomez house tonight? haha

The Pumkin Patch

We Had a fun time today at the Pumkin Patch. The kids each picked there own pumkin. Now we just have have to carve them up.

And here she is...... PURE TROUBLE!!!

The other day as I was trying to get ready to head out, little miss Avery kept getting into my makeup. So I put it up out of reach and then went to change Weston. As I was changing him I realized it was just a little TOOOO quiet. I hurried and finished up so I could find Avery, but she was nowhere to be found. I was calling her name and finally I heard a little voice coming from out in the garage. I opened the door and there she was with my mascara in hand and beautiful eyebrows. After a little scolding and a lot of laughing I had to take some pictures. Boy, LIFE sure would be boring without my Avery.

At Our Book Club......

We reviewed the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer...I am in LOVE with these books. I am also happy to report that all these ladies were just as obsessed as I was. Edward Edward we love you..haha
And Yes....In the group photo's we all have Vampire Teeth In!

Southlands 5K...super fun.

Saturday Morning.......

Bethany Price, me and AnnJanee Toloczko at the finish line for the 5K. Bethany kicked our butts....she finished in 30 minutes so she was all cooled down and waiting at the finish line. AnnJanee and I did it in 36 minutes. Whoohooo girls we ROCK! We will get ya next time Bethany. Meet you at the Thanksgiving day one in Highlands Ranch..haha

As you can probably tell by pervious postings my kid LOVE getting there faces painted.

So then Avery had to show us how a kitty MEOWS.




What a fun day we had down at Southlands. They do the face painting for tips only and what a fantastic job they did. Good thing though because it only lasted about 10 minutes on Avery. All the way home in the car we were "Avery don't touch your face until we take your picture."

Dress Up fun

Avery wanted to dress up in this old ballet costume of Emersons and dance to this ballet dvd that we have. She was having so much fun I had to take some pictures of her. ENJOY!

I saw this on my cousins blog and thought it would be fun to see who our kids look more alike. WELL....take a look and see what you think. Do you agree with the meter or ME?



This one really didn't suprise me at all. I have always thought Emerson was a good mixture of the two of us.



OK...I do not agree with this one at all. I have and I am sure everyone else has always said that Avery looks more like ME!



Same with this one! Weston is totally a little Peter, Don't you think so?

But the one thing I do agree with the meter on is that are kids are a pretty good mixture of Peter and I. I also think that our kids look alot like each other. You know the say "well you can tell they are a gomez". One day we were in Paradise bakery as a family eating some sandwiches when this lady kept looking at us. Finally she said " I am looking at three little kids but only one face" it was really kind of funny. But we do often get comments like that.

Ballerina Emerson

I'm a big kid now!!!

Avery has been getting really good at riding her bike this week. So Today we took off the handle that I hold to help and she just took off.


As you can see by her smile she thinks she is pretty awesome. She even rode that little bike all the way to the school to get Emerson. What a SUPER STAR!


She is so proud of her self. She keeps saying "look at me mom". I am one proud mama!

Picnic at Garden of the Gods

Emerson's Class Project

Emerson brought home this green square with a letter attached to it. The teacher asked the parents to write one hope and one dream for your child for 2nd grade. Then we were to decorate it together. So my HOPE is that Emerson will develope a love for learning. My DREAM is that she will learn to be organized. Emerson almost forgets something at school everyday. Then I added an extra one for her to make some great friends. We had alot of fun and Emerson glued and helped with all the gromets. Ohhh ya and the ribbon was a must...special request from Emerson. SHE IS SO PROUD OF IT.

It's always fun when Grandma & Grandpa come.......HURRAY!

Wipe Out

Poor Emerson had a big wipe on the second day of school. OUCH!

Avery has just been in heaven this year. She is now tall enough to go on all the rides.woohoo





Weston had a blast. This is him on the slide, he kept climbing up and just laughing.




Emerson was such a good big sister and put her arm around Avery on the roller coaster.




The girls had there faces painted. Avery wanted the butter fly (so sweet) and Emerson wanted to be a tiger (roarrrrr)
